Honeymoon: Day 4

We were finally able to sleep in some by day 4.  We woke up around 9 am and went to the nicest restaurant on the resort for breakfast.  I loved going there because you really get to take your time and enjoy each meal (ya don't have much choice- everything takes forever- but it's a nice change of pace).  I had boiled eggs and fruit & Jon had an omlette with bacon & wheat toast.  We went on a walk after breakfast around the resort.  It was fairly overcast in the mornings so it was cool outside- great time for a walk.  Sounds cheezy, but it's actually one of our favorite things to do together.  We headed back to the room and got ready for the gym.  I ran on the treadmill while Big Jon pumped iron.

We went straight to lunch at Bahama Bay & loaded up on protein (broiled fish) and raw veggies; the lunch of champions.  We headed back to the room for a shower & then were off to the spa for our couples' massage at 2.  The Red Lane Spa at the resort is one of the top in the world...and it definitely lived up to its reputation.  Jon & I split into the different changing rooms and met back upstairs in our robes & sweet spa sandals (LOL- I WISH I had a picture of Jon- he was cracking me up!).  The whole spa smelled awesome, and both of our massages rocked.  We laid on massage tables about 2 ft away from each other.  My masseuse looked like Michelle Obama; she was gorgeous.  When they first took us to our room, they gave us instructions to de-robe and get under the sheet, face down on the table.  Now this was not my first massage (I LOVE them! I've had several...) but for some reason I wasn't thinking and started to drop my robe right there with them in the room.  Apparently I lost all of my modesty when I got married! Luckily Jon caught me in time & they didn't get a sneak peak at my goodies...haha!

They ended the massage with our hands resting in one another's. It was kinda funny because we both thought we were holding our masseuse' hand and didn't realize it was actually each other's, but it really was a neat touch.  They helped us get our robes back on, but when Jon stood up from the table his robe was tucked under and his butt was showing! HILARIOUS!!!  I was trying not to laugh as the ladies gave us their product spiel, but I finally couldn't control myself and had to let it out and rescue him from his embarrassing situation- to which he was blissfully ignorant.  I know these ladies had to be thinking "Where did these people come from?"  They were super sweet and escorted us to a lounge to rehydrate and relax.  We read magazines for a few then headed back downstairs, where I sat in the steam room for about 10 min. I love steam rooms.  The ladies really tried to talk me into buying some hydrating cream for Jon's knees....between painting and his Osgood-Schlatter's they're in pretty brutal shape.

We were so relaxed after the massage that we decided to put on our swimsuits and head to the hot tub at the pool.  We hung out there for awhile, but then Jon decided he wanted a rematch on the ring toss, so we went to the Game Room- where I dominated again.  (Okay, I didn't exactly dominate today like I did last time, but I did win- a W is a W, right?)

We headed back to the room around 5 and to get ready for dinner.
It was delicious! I had scallops and Jon had the beef medallions- I know, try something different, right? It was SO good!
We came back to the room and changed clothes to walk around for awhile.  Jon wore his awesome shirt he got on sale for $4.99 at Kohl's. He was so proud of it...

It was a good deal- gotta give him that.
 A little creepy....

We listened to an awesome Bahemian band play for awhile outside the pub, then headed back to the room where we watched our favorite show- Law & Order.  When we got back we ordered room service- a fruit and cheese plate and slice of carrot cake.  Random, but good.  Ready to rest up for day 5!
